  • HOW DO YOU MAKE SOAP - When crafting our soaps, we strive to find that perfect balance between organic and practical, natural and playful while offering an everyday essential product. This is an old-fashioned way of soap making - mixing oils with lye over the stove top. During the soap making process, sodium hydroxide, also called lye, is added to the fats. This is called "saponification." Relax - the soap is made with lye but doesn't contain lye - big difference. Lye is the active ingredient that magically transforms the fats into a completely new substance - a fatty acid salt – or a lovely bar of soap and no lye remains once the cooking “saponification” is complete. There is no possible way to make soap without lye and there is no soap bar on the planet that hasn't been saponified in this way.
  • WHAT IS IN SOAP?  Skin loving olive oil, coconut oil, sustainable harvested palm oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil and shea and cocoa butters are the core ingredients in our soaps. The unique scents are essential oils or high-quality fragrance oils. Additional additives often used are goat milk, farm fresh cow milk, finely ground oatmeal, clays, raw honey, sea salts, poppyseeds, spices, beer, coffee, fresh aloe vera, tussah silks and cucumber from the local produce market. My special blend of oils creates the perfect bar of soap — cleansing, moisturizing, nourishing for all skin types, long lasting and lots of lather.
  • Not all soaps are created equal. Our soaps are handcrafted and hand cut. They may look different in appearance from one batch to the next. Weights may vary slightly from bar to bar and batch to batch. That is the nature of most handmade soaps. Most of our soaps will range from 4 ounces to 5 ounces and will, over time, continue to evaporate water and lose a little weight. However, this makes for a finer, longer lasting soap bar despite the slight weight change.
  • Store your soaps in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Be sure to allow your soap to dry between uses and use a soap dish that offers drainage so the soap can dry effectively.
  • WHY HOMEMADE AND NOT COMMERCIALLY MADE SOAP? Commercially made soaps are harsh, petroleum-derived detergents rather than real soap. They contain all kinds of synthetic, chemical ingredients and preservatives, which often cause dryness, sensitivities and itchiness. When you realize that 99% of what you put on your skin gets absorbed into your body, you want to choose products with less ingredients altogether and more natural products that benefit your skin. The quality of the soap starts from the integrity of the basic ingredients.
  • ARE YOUR SOAPS VEGAN?  Many soaps we make are 100% vegetarian or vegetable based. Oatmeal & Goat Milk soap, which uses fresh goat milk in the recipe or honey added soaps wouldn’t classify as vegan. We list all ingredients on every bar of soaps so our customers know exactly what is in each bar and can choose one that is perfect for them.
  • CUSTOM ORDERS: We make custom soaps for baby showers, party favors, weddings, and personalized client gifts. Custom orders start in bars of 10 and go up from there. You can choose the colors and fragrance. We’ll also help with custom labels too. Yes! We love creating custom gifts and offer a lot of options! Please, message us directly and we can give you all the info needed to create unique gifts for your guests.
  • HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING? We offer shipping on all orders in the US. Flat rate shipping is 7.00. If you spend $60.00 or more, you'll receive FREE SHIPPING. We use USPS Priority Mail, which is a very reliable service. However, there are times deliveries can be dropped at the wrong address or go missing due to package theft aka porch pirates. If the tracking shows your package was delivered and you claim you did not receive it, we cannot file a claim with the USPS but encourage you to follow-up with your local postman and post office. Unfortunately, we are not able to resolve these situations financially ourselves, but we will do anything in our power to work on your behalf with the USPS to resolve any problems that may arise. If you have any concerns whatsoever, please let us know when placing your order and we can specify a signature delivery. This is possible for any size order but does require an additional charge of $5.00. 
  • RETURNS & EXCHANGES - Due to safety and contamination concerns, we are not able to resell any item after it has been shipped to a customer. Because of this we do not accept returns. Please be sure about your purchase before finalizing your order. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped.
  • DO YOU OFFER IN STORE PICK UP? Yes! Simply click the 'in-store pick up' option when checking out. Items are available for pick up at Lollie's during normal business hours by appointment only.

  • DO YOUR SOAPS LATHER? Absolutely, our recipe is carefully formulated with 7 key ingredients to create long-lasting hard bars that produce loads of sudsy bubbles!
  • HOW ABOUT MELTING? WILL THAT BE AN ISSUE? Not with our soaps. We use the cold process method of soap making, which produces long lasting bars that won't melt in the heat. We recommend keeping soap out of the stream of running water and in a well draining soap dish to maximize the life expectancy. Consider purchasing a soap lift, soap wooden tray or soap saver bag to maximize your soap bar life.
  • I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN, SHOULD I USE YOUR SOAP? While we are not doctors and cannot directly address any skin conditions, our soaps are free from foaming agents and and all the nasty ingredients most commercial soaps are made of that can cause dry, itchy and irritated skin. Always read the ingredients to make sure there is nothing you're allergic to and feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
  • I WANT TO SEND A GIFT, WILL YOU WRAP IT FOR ME? ​Absolutely! We will also include a note for your recipient. Simply leave a note in the comments box when checking out and let us know it is a gift and what you would like your personal message to say!

Because someone taught me how - thanks to my friend Susan who is passionate about soap, teaching, Jesus and Hub of Hope NWA ministry. Because I have the time and I can do it. Because it makes me happy. Because it fills by cup. Because it blesses others. Because I am a child of God and He made me this way. It's not really to make a buck or two, but it's to GIVE a buck or two.
